Creating my own gore

To create this effect I used small strips of tissue paper to make a ring outline on my hand leaving a bare part of the skin in the middle. Next i covered the tissue round with latex paste until it dried and became harder. Next to make it look like a deeper cut i used some black oil paint to outline the cut, then inside the cut. To create a dried blood effect I used some red oil paint and then some red pomegranite syrup fluid to make the blood look stickier and therefore realistic.
